The Elite Brand Awards International, one of Africa’s most prestigious recognition platforms, is scheduled to take place on 10th December 2025 at Nairobi, Kenya, spotlighting Kenyan companies among the continent's most influential brands. This annual event, organized by the nonprofit Jubilant Stewards of Africa, honors outstanding organizations and individuals from across Africa for excellence that goes beyond commercial success to include innovation, ethical leadership, quality, and social impact.

This year’s ceremony is expected to bring together over 100 companies representing 18 African countries, underscoring Kenya’s leadership role within the regional economy. Participating firms come from diverse sectors including manufacturing, banking, technology, health, hospitality, education, and media. This broad participation reflects the event’s commitment to recognizing industry leaders who set benchmarks not only in their products and services but also in their organizational processes and contributions to society.

The awards operate under a rigorous multi-stage selection process which blends public voting with expert evaluation. Central to this evaluation is the Organizational Performance Index (OPI), a global benchmarking framework assessing the quality of corporate systems, impact on communities, and adherence to ethical business practices. Winners are companies that demonstrate excellence in operations while also advancing social responsibility and sustainability.

Jared Oundo, Executive Director of Jubilant Stewards of Africa, emphasized the awards’ role in promoting purpose-driven leadership. He stated that the event celebrates firms that exemplify integrity, innovation, and community transformation—qualities crucial in today’s fast-evolving and competitive global business environment. He highlighted that the awards are also a milestone for the organizer, marking continued dedication to fostering Africa’s business excellence through platforms that inspire and elevate high standards.

Among the celebrated Kenyan firms expected to be honored are Safaricom PLC, Kevian Kenya Ltd, Mwananchi Credit Ltd, Royal Mabati Limited, SGA Security, Brighter Monday, City Walk Ltd, and Username Investments, alongside dynamic newcomers such as AMG Realtors, Crown Paints Kenya, Heritage Mabati, Guardian Coaches, Rentco Africa, Kenyatta University, University of Nairobi, Aster Hospital, and Bonfire Adventures.

Awardees have expressed pride in the recognition and reaffirmed their commitment to quality, social impact, and innovation. For instance, Zelipher Wairimu of Kevian Kenya stressed the importance of quality and health in their product offerings beyond just profit-making. Godfrey Wandera of Royal Mabati highlighted the firm’s mission to build trust and empower communities, while Peris Wanjiku of Sunflower Events Kenya celebrated their commitment to creativity and service excellence.

Past recipients of the Elite Brand Awards include influential firms such as Trinity Transporters, Westlands Laser Eye Hospital, Sun FM & TV Zambia, and Maono Land Limited. These awards have increasingly become a benchmark for recognizing African corporate entities that merge operational success with social conscience.

This year’s event also promises valuable networking opportunities, connecting award recipients, thought leaders, and industry influencers. It celebrates those who challenge norms, push innovative boundaries, and foster transformative economic and social contributions in Africa. The Elite Brand Awards International thus continues to reinforce Kenya’s position as a hub for influential, ethical, and innovative brands shaping the continent’s future economy and society.

In conclusion, the 2025 Elite Brand Awards International in Nairobi symbolizes a celebration of African business excellence where Kenyan companies shine brightly among their peers, inspiring industry-wide commitment to integrity, sustainability, and impactful leadership.
