Wajir North Member of Parliament Hon. Ibrahim Saney. He has been ranked the best performing MP from Kenya's North Eastern Region by Global Ranking Analysis. 

A recent report by Global Ranking Analysis has unveiled the top 10 most influential Members of Parliament (MPs) from Kenya's North Eastern region for 2024. These leaders have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to their constituencies through impactful policies, community engagement, and exemplary representation.

Leading the pack is Hon. Ibrahim Saney of Wajir North Constituency, who secured an influence rating of 65.6%. Hon. Saney's commitment to improving access to education, clean water, and infrastructure has transformed one of Kenya’s most underserved regions. His dedicated leadership has resonated strongly with his constituents, earning him the top spot in this year’s rankings.

In second place is Hon. Adan Keynan Wehliye of Eldas Constituency, with a rating of 62.5%. A seasoned politician, Hon. Keynan has been instrumental in advocating for peace and security, fostering stability and development across his constituency.

The third position goes to Hon. Abdul Haro (Kore) of Mandera South Constituency, with a 60.6% influence rating. Hon. Haro’s grassroots-driven approach prioritizes healthcare and youth empowerment, resulting in tangible improvements in the lives of his constituents.

At fourth is Hon. Suleka Hulbale Harun, a Nominated MP with a rating of 59.4%. A staunch advocate for women’s rights and empowerment, Hon. Suleka has worked tirelessly to champion gender equality and address the needs of marginalized groups in the region.

Rounding out the top five is Hon. Mohamed Abdikadir of Lagdera Constituency, earning a 57.7% rating. Hon. Abdikadir’s focus on combating drought and improving food security has established him as a leader committed to addressing the region’s most pressing challenges.

These rankings underscore the dedication of North Eastern Kenya's MPs in tackling critical issues such as education, healthcare, security, and gender equality. Their achievements highlight the transformative power of effective leadership and the positive impact it can have on local communities.
